No Kings Rally

BALE Resistance Hub is hosting a No Kings Day rally on the South Royalton Green Saturday 10/18 1-3pm.

We will gather with millions across the nation to say no to authoritarian policy and to say yes to the power of the people. Through art, ritual and strategic action we will exercise our right to gather, resist and organize in our community.

This event will also include performance and interactive installation by members of the BALE resistance hub and The Sable Project.

For more information on the BALE resistance hub visit our page and to RSVP and receive rally updates for 10/18 sign up at mobilize.

In April, BALE organized the Hands Off Rally where approximately 400 people gathered on the South Royalton Green under freezing rain to raise a collective voice against federal overreach threatening our rights and resources.

Following that peaceful and powerful gathering, community members have continued to meet at BALE, forming a Resistance Hub to organize local responses to threats against our democratic system. The Resistance Hub connects folks from neighboring towns into focused action groups addressing specific issues—because local resilience requires local action.

On Saturday, October 18th at 1pm, we gather again on the South Royalton Green—this time in concert with millions across the nation for No Kings Day – a movement ignited by a broad coalition of progressive groups across the country including Indivisible and 50501 Movement. This is another way of saying "Yes to the power of the people."

Our rally will uplift actionable steps we can take as a local community to ensure Vermont protects the constitutional rights of all its citizens by refusing to cooperate with authoritarian policies. Through art, ritual, and strategic organizing, we'll celebrate the beauty of our community and the common humanity that unites us across our differences.

This is a historic moment at an urgent turning point. Show up. Bring 10 friends. Together we'll gather, resist, and organize—peacefully, purposefully, powerfully.

See you there.
