At each market in addition to wonderful vendors selling local produce, eggs, organic meat, raw milk, honey, bread, baked goods, farm-to-table brunch, arts & crafts + more… BALE brings our summer FREE STORE and curates family friendly activities, music and performances.

This week:

Family Friendly Natural Dye Workshop: Bring something smaller than a bed pillowcase made of cotton, linen, or wool. This is a fun, non-toxic way to upcycle small cloth items, napkins, dishtowels, etc. Natural dye pots are prepared by local artist Katie Spencer, made from colors foraged from the hills around us, grown in local gardens, or found in our compost bins. Suggested $5 donation to BALE to dip.
