Building A Local Economy Inc. (BALE) is a 5013c Nonprofit incorporated in Vermont. As such we have the privilege of acting as a fiscal sponsor to other organizations who do work aligned with our mission, and who are working towards but have not yet achieved their 501c3 status.

By entering into a fiscal sponsorship agreement with BALE, an organization can become eligible to receive grants and tax deductible donations that require 501c3 status.

Fiscal Sponsorship is available by Application. There is no fee to apply. Our fiscal sponsorship fee is 5% of all income, and may be waived for organizations in their first year of operation upon approval of the BALE board. Please email us with further questions or submit an inquiry form below.
