About This Art

This artwork was created by members of HAICU (Healing Arts Intensive Care Unit) — SafeArt’s longest-running group, meeting weekly for 3½ hours.

SafeArt is a Vermont-based organization of Healing Arts Facilitators who use creative expression, mindfulness, movement, social action, and nature connection to support community wellness, healing, and social change

HAICU serves those who have experienced trauma and other life challenges. The group supports each participant in finding their own individual path to healing.

The staff of SafeArt are artists, creators, and educators who are passionate about helping others explore the freedom of creative expression.
